Mr Rayne felt comfortable about a meter away from the woman that would interview him. He expected the first question and his worries had vanished. Stage fright was over.
The commercial break for TV spots ended and the show began. Oprah began her overture.
"Recently, the President Obama said something in his address that offers Nobel Committee's nomination of Mr Rayne for this year's Peace Prize. Many famous journalists supported "the Savior of the Alps" in their materials and articles. Considering these facts, my writers gave me a huge list of possible questions to ask Mr Rayne, but our time is limited. People want to know who is really responsible for the prevention of a "second Chernobyl". I was thinking a lot about what will be my first question to you tonight."
There followed a brief pause. All cameras in the studio focused on Tom. This brief moment broke all records of viewership in the history of television.
The presenter of tonight's show took a breath and looked at Tom to finally ask her first question to the guest. Tom's heart was beating a hundred beats per minute.
"Who are you, Mr Rayne?"
THE END

Thomas Rayne will return in "Mr Rayne and the mission to Mars".
